Indulge yourself in affordable and bespoke one to one meditation, breathwork and hatha yoga classes at Shantam Shala, a private quiet and relaxed space in Sydenham/Crystal Palace south east London.
Bespoke classes and guidance, where each session is skillfully tailored to elevate both your health and mindful pleasure. Classes taught are based on Hatha yoga principles for beginners and intermediate practitioners.
The Sanskrit word βhaαΉhaβ means "force" - "ha" and "tha" represent the sun and moon, or active and passive force.
Classes focus on steady and mindful focussed movement, meditation flexibility and strength and are aimed at balancing the body and mind. If you have specific ailments, muscle tightness and such you can advise me before we practice so I can design the class tailored specifically to you.
Hatha is a yoga practice that focuses on breathing, focussed movement and posture to channel good energy - βpranaβ - and vital energy. Classes will include breath work, warm ups, movement, asanas and meditation and can last from 45 - 90 minutes.
